Computation of wake fields for the CLIC disk-loaded waveguide (CLIC DLWG)

Creators

Description

In order to devise the most appropriate means to counteract the harmful effects of wake fields, it is necessary to appreciate their magnitude and shape through computations and to check the results by model measurements. The results obtained with two different computational methods are presented, one is based on the modal sum in frequency domain and the other solves Maxwell's equations directly in time domain. The results obtained by the two methods are shown to converge. (author) 11 refs.; 3 figs.; 2 tabs
