Description
The authors study the joint action of penetrating radiation and chlorination from the standpoint of the appearance of a positive synergistic effect in the presence of a change in the chlorine concentration. The experimental results are presented on the inactivation of microorganisms under the separate action of penetrating radiation and chlorine and under their joint action at the selected gamma radiation dose rates with fixed radiation doses. Conclusions are drawn from an analysis of the data
