Synthesis of tetraalkyl ammonium borohydrides

Tetraalkilammonium boron hydrides (NR4)BH4 (where NR4=N(CH3)4, N(C4H9)4, N(C4H9)3CH3, N(C4H9)3C2H5, N(C6H13)3C2H5, N(C6H13)3C4H9, N(C12H25)3C2H5) were prepared from the respective iodides in aqueous alcohol media at 0 deg C on anionite AB-17 (BH4-). The melting points and IR spectra of the obtained compounds are presented
