Zonal distribution of tritium in surface waters and ground waters of the USSR

Description
Proceeding from interactions of surface waters with ground waters a method is presented for assessing the spatial distribution of tritium concentrations in ground waters on the basis of tritium measurements in river waters. Furthermore, a mathematical model has been developed for determining the period of water exchange in lakes located in temperate climatic zones
