This report shows the role the ECB should take to fulfill its price stability primary mandate in a context of climate crisis and energy-driven inflation. Exploring the three types of climate-related inflations identified by ECB board member Isabel Schnabel in a recent speech, it shows why and how the ECB is able to manage inflation by proactively supporting a clean energy transition in the EU

Face a l'urgence climatique et la crise inflationniste, ce rapport presente le role que la BCE devrait jouer des maintenant pour remplir son mandat primaire de stabilite des prix tout en soutenant les objectifs climatiques de l'UE qui font partie de son mandat secondaire. Explorant les trois types d'inflation lies au climat identifies par Isabel Schnabel, membre du conseil d'administration de la BCE, dans un recent discours, il montre pourquoi et comment la BCE est en mesure de maitriser l'inflation en soutenant de maniere proactive une transition energetique verte au sein de l'UE
