Isotope shifts in lead: mass shifts and the odd-even effect

Description
Calculated values of some specific mass shifts in lead, obtained using HFR wavefunctions, reduce the uncertainty in the field shifts and enable much more stringent comparisons with calculated nuclear properties to be made. (author)
