Prediction of the residual life for materials and structures from acoustic-emission signals

Description
The low failure rate of present-day nuclear power equipment is to a considerable extent due to the effectiveness of the methods used in determining the residual life of structures directly involved in their operation. The authors propose a method for predicting the limiting state of shell type structures
