Radon remedies in dwellings
Description
The article is a brief summary of a report entitled 'The causes of high radon levels in buildings and the feasibility and costs of remedial measures,' by the Building Research Establishment and the National Radiological Protection Board, United Kingdom. The paper describes measures that can be taken to reduce radon levels in buildings. These measures include: simple sealing, ventilation and air cleaning, and diversion of soil gas. (UK)
