Dissipative nucleus-nucleus collisions: study of memory effects

  • 1. Dept. of Physics, Rajasthan Univ., Jaipur (India)

Description

Dissipative collisions between two heavy nuclei are described in terms of a macroscopic dynamical model within the framework of a multi-dimensional Fokker-Planck equation. The reaction 86Kr(8.18 MeV/u) + 166Er has been used as a prototype to study and demonstrate the memory effects for dissipation and diffusion processes
