Utilization of microtron for multi-element photon activation analysis
Description
Utilization of a microtron for multielement photon activation analysis of ferruginous laterites, soil and geological standards, iron-manganese nodules, meteorites and samples from superdeep drilled holes (h >= 7 Kms) was investigated. Interferences, caused by nuclear reactions of different types were studied and taken into account. 20-30 elements have been determined in the samples. Sensitivity thresholds of 1.0-nx10-2 ppm for several elements have been achieved
