Cryochemical synthesis of samarium tris-acetylacetonate and its physicochemical properties

Description
Using cryochemical method of cocondensation of reagent vapours on a cooled surface, anhydrous tris-acetylacetonate of samarium and its adduct with dimethylsulfoxide are synthesized. Using statistical method, the temperature dependence of samarium tris-acetyl-acetonate saturated vapour pressure is determined: lg p(mm Hg)=(3.05+-0.20)-(1050+-70)/T in the temperature range 293-413 K. The values of thermodynamic functions are calculated: ΔHsub(subl)=20+-2 kJ/mol, ΔSsub(subl)=60+-5 J/(mol x K)
