Convective and turbulent fluxes in shadow of tokamak poloidal limiter
Description
The scrape-off-layer plasma of tokamak ring poloidal limiters is investigated considering both toroidal effects and plasma-surface interaction in dependence on the poloidal angle. Physical processes, like convection and plasma drift as well as turbulence and flute-originated plasma instability, are described. It is discussed how this theoretical description concerns the experimental data
