Effect of ground state correlations on the properties of the first 2+ and 3- states in some Sm isotopes

Description

The effect of ground state correlations of even-even nuclei and their coupling with phonon amplitudes on energies and probabilities of electric transitions of first excited 2+ and 3- states, is estimated. On the basis of the variational principle equations for energy of nuclei excited states are obtained. Analytical expressions for the gap and quasiparticle states are presented as well as for given probabilities [B(EL)]. The results of calculations of energies of 2+ and 3- states and B(E2, E3) for sup(144,146,148, 150)Sm as well as for quasiparticle energies and gap parameters in 150Sm are tabulated. The analysis of the results obtained and their comparison with calculations over the superflow model have shown that the effects studied are small for sup(144,146,148)Sm, but the collectivity of 21+ and 31- states decreases strongly for 150Sm
