Polarization and inclusive reactions: an introduction for the theory workshop
Description
The study of polarization effects in inclusive reactions is an area in which theory, for the most part, lags experiment. Experimentally the tools are available, or soon will be, to polarize a variety of beams and targets as well as to measure the polarization of the product. Given the current promises of QCD, some theoretical guidance would be useful to indicate which of the many possible future experiments might yield interesting results. 16 references, 2 figures
