Study of the omega and phi production in proton-proton collisions near the reaction threshold
Description
The production of the light vector mesons ω and φ in proton-proton collisions was studied at a beam energy of 2.85 GeV at the proton synchrotron SATURNE in Saclay (France). The ratio σ(pp→ppφ)/σ(pp→ppω) was determined to (1.5±0.5(stat)-0.6+1.3(syst)).10-3
