Recent U.S. target physics related research in heavy-ion inertial fusion
Description
A review is given about the target physics research in heavy-ion inertial fusion in the USA. Especially considered are target gains and relations to accelerator design, simulations for tamped targets and for disk experiments in accelerator test facilities, and deposition physics. (HSI)
