Energy dependence of Ksub(π) in C K P model

A comprehensive study have been made on the energy dependence of the pion inelasticity in C K P model. The composite primary spectrum of Olejniczak, Wdowczyk and Wolfendale and ground level muon spectrum of Aytre et al. have been used in these calculations. Final results favour the energy dependence of Ksub(π) in C K P model reasonably. Attention has been paid on the comments made earlier by Chakravorty, De and Das who failed to realise the motivation of our previous work (Sarkar et al.)
