National and international radiation safety standards with respect to the dose limits in irradiation of the whole population

Description
Consideration is made of the actually valid national and international standards for radiation safety, representing official and factual significance for the country. The different objects of standardization in the legislative documents of the various legislative international organizations are analyzed and juxtaposed, as well as the numeric values for the admissible dose limits of irradiation of the population The careful comparison and analysis reveal that the standards PRB-72 are the most rigorous and therefore the most humanistic with respect to standardization of the population irradiation. To this effect, they deserve a serious attention, too
