Description

WWR-SM research reactor operates since 1959 at the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Since its start, its operation has been smooth and without any problems. Maintenance, ageing management and modernization of reactor SSCs are in the first priority not to compromise reactor operation safety. Non-stop modernization and maintenance of WWR-SM reactor allows to keep reliable reactor operation and effective use of neutrons. (author)
