Alarm of heating surfaces leakage at steam generators heated with liquid metal, especially liquid sodium

A rod- or tube-like waveguide is attached to the outer surface of the steam generator wall. It is connected via a transducer to an analyzer of ultrasound field stochastic signals. The ultrasound field is emitted by the reaction with liquid sodium of water or water vapour penetrated to the sodium due to heating surface leakage. In view of the fact that the transmitted signal may be attenuated by the steam generator wall, it is advisable to install the waveguide to pass through the wall such that it is washed by the liquid sodium.
