Characterization of intraorganic spreading of low-ampulary rectal cancer and its radiation pathomorphosis

Histomorphological data are evaluated of intraorganic extension of low-ampullary rectal cancer spreading in the distal direction based on examination of 50 operative specimens. The obtained data were the basis for two modifications of radical abdominal resection in location of 4-6 cm from the anus. An investigation of the radiation pathomorphosis of tumours irradiated according in the intensive method with a total dose of 30 Gr revealed the expediency of its use in the preoperative period
