Description
The Experimental Pulmonary Pathology Laboratory (LPPE) has been recently inaugurated on the site of the ancient uranium mine at La Crouzille, in France. Its main objectives are to evaluate the risk of radon irradiation for operators and populations, and to evaluate effects induced by low levels and dose rates and to identify agents that may increase cancer risks such as inhaled airborne contaminants
