Landscape-ecological importance according to districts; 1 : 2 000 000
Description
Individual districts were characterised by the prevailing representation of ecological importance and importance of the selected natural resources. The result is 24 categories of districts with different importance levels. Districts with medium ecological and natural importance (Senica, Skalica, Prievidza, Sabinov, Vranov nad Toplou, Kosice-environs, and Sobrance); and with little ecological and high or very high natural importance (Trnava, Hlohovec, Piestany, Nitra, Levice, and Topolcany) prevail. Five districts: Bratislava, Malacky, Pezinok, Senec, Nove Mesto nad Vahom, and Zlate Moravce are characterised by regular representation of ecological and natural importance (medium ecological and very high to high natural importance).
