Pressure vessel for a power reactor

Description

A circular support plate made of cast material is placed between the cylindrical wall and the floor plate of the reactor pressure vessel. The support plate projects beyond the cylindrical wall on its whole circumference. From the inside of the reactor there are gas ducts to penetrations through the support plate, above which the satellite pressure vessels for heat exchangers are positioned. The support plate is prestressed around its circumference in the horizontal direction by a cable winding, while the anchoring between the component pressure vessels and the support plate is provided by vertical stressing cables. Abstract (German)

Zwischen der zylindrischen Wandung und der Bodenplatte des Reaktordruckbehaelters ist eine ringfoermige Traegerplatte aus Gussmaterial gezogen. Die Traegerplatte ragt auf ihrem ganzen Umfang ueber die zylindrische Wandung hinaus. Aus dem Reaktorinnern fuehren Gaskanaele zu Durchbruechen in der Traegerplatte, ueber denen die Satellitendruckbehaelter fuer Waermetauscher aufgestellt sind. Die Traegerplatte ist mittels einer Kabelwicklung um ihren Umfang in horizontaler Richtung vorgespannt, waehrend die Verankerung zwischen den Komponentendruckbehaeltern und der Traegerplatte durch vertikale Spannkabel erfolgt.
