Phase diagrams of ordered nonstoichiometric hafnium carbide and titanium nitride

Description
Equilibrium phase diagrams of Hf-C and Ti-N systems are calculated by the method of order parameter functional taking into account atomic ordering of nonstoichometric cubic hafnium carbide and titanium nitride pure is only one compound - HfCy carbide with B1 structure - in the non-ordered state in Hf-C system which has a wide homogeneity region. Ordered hafnium carbide phases are formed at the temperature below 800 K. In this case Hf3C2 and Hf6C5 phases are formed. M2C phase does not form in hafnium carbide
