Pulse shaper with controlled delay in the nanosecond range

  • 1. Joint Inst. for Nuclear Research, Dubna (USSR)

Description

A double pulse shaper with computer controlled delay of 1 ns step in the range of up to 63 ns is described. Delay elements are made of stripe printed lines and commutating elements - of high-frequency transistors with 3 GHz transmission band. Minimum delay of the unit is 6.5 ns, intrinsic time shift of the delay is 2.5 ns. It is compact; there are no trimming in it
