Validation of the in-core fuel management codes by calculating WWER hexagonal lattice with burnable absorber

Description

Within the coordinated research program on 'Safe Core Management with Burnable Absorbers in WWERs', organized by the IAEA, computations of WWER cell, supercell and fuel assembly were performed. Comparison of neutronic results obtained by applying the WIMSD-4 code with available results of other codes show quite a good agreement although different nuclear data libraries and different methods were applied.
