Application of thiocarbamide to polarographic determination of europium

Description
The voltammetric behaviour of the Eu(3)-KJ-CS(NH2)2 system is studied with the aim of reducing the detection limit of europium by the polarographic methods. The optimum conditions of europium determination are: concentration of background electrolyte-0.1 M, thiocarbamide concentration 1x10-3 M, pH=2.0-6.0, the technique of Eu polarographic determination in the Eu-Ni-Si alloy is determined. Eu content is found by the graduation diagram in the concentration range 5x10-6-5x10-4 M Eu(3)
