Description
This Letter reports on a simple wet chemical approach to synthesize bicrystal cupric oxide (CuO) microsheets. The field-emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) show those microsheets typically present the uniform foldout-like shape. The portrait length of our products was in the range of 20-30 μm, and several micrometers of width. Electron diffraction studies implied that each CuO microsheet was a twin crystal
