Interaction of natural pigment quercetin with silver nanoparticles in reverse micelles

Description
Interaction between quercetin and silver nanoparticles in aqueous and micelles solution is studied by the spectrophotometry method. Nanoparticles of Agnm+ have been obtained by radiation-chemical method, i.e by gamma irradiation (60Co) by 1 Mrad dose of silver nitrate aqueous solution solubilized in saturated hydrocarbon using a surfactant. It is shown that interaction of silver initial nanoparticles with quercetin results in formation of new particles of smaller size via formation of quercetin complex with silver ions
Abstract (Russian)
Методом спектрофотометрии изучено взаимодействие кверцетина в водном и мицеллярном растворах. Наночастицы Agnm+ получены радиационно-химическим методом, т.е. путем гамма-облучения (60Co) дозой 1 Мрад водного раствора нитрата серебра, сольюбилизированного в предельном углеводороде с помощью поверхностно-активного вещества. Показано, что взаимодействие исходных наночастиц серебра с кверцетином приводит к формированию новых частиц меньшего размера через образование комплекса кверцетина с ионами серебраAdditional details
