Choice of the coolant gas and its properties for cooling experimental samples in the reactor experimental loop, and choice of construction materials for the loop head
Description
Full text: Material samples are irradiated in the reactor experimental channels. Heat is generated during irradiation. For some reactor materials and chemical samples the temperature should not exceed certain limits during irradiation. This paper contains the analysis of the chosen coolant gas and its parameters to be used in the experimental loop with irradiation capsules during defined RA reactor operating conditions. Choice of the materials for constructing the head of the experimental loop was made related to thermal stress and nuclear properties of the materials
