Prediction and assessment of off-site consequences of an accident in a nuclear facility
Description
Real-time assessment models and their selection of off-site consequences of an accident in a nuclear facilely are introduced and reviewed. The adequate real-time dose assessment models for nuclear power plants in China are suggested. The author describes the uncertainties of the consequence predictions, relations between the consequences and protective action decision with attention to the lessons from the Three Mile Island accident and the Chernobyl reactor accident protective measure decision
