Beyond the NPT

The book contains seven papers presented at the national seminar titled Beyond the NPT organised by Indian Pugwash Coswa Society, New Delhi in March 1994. The topics covered are arranged under titles: 1) Nuclear challenges in Asia, 2) Trends in proliferation: a survey of recent developments, 3) Nuclear realities, 4) Non-proliferation and advances in nuclear science, 5) NPT-problems and prospects, 6) Nuclear policy for India, and 7) Beyond the NPT: some impressions. At the end a brief description on Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs is also given. Articles relevant to INIS from this book on non proliferation treaty (NPT) are indexed separately.
