Upper limits for HI in seven open clusters

Description

A search for neutral hydrogen features associated with open clusters has been made with the 30-m telescope of the Instituto Argentino de Radioastronomia. Seven open clusters were observed: Sculptoris, NGC 2204, NGC 2243, NGC 3766, IC 2391, Mel 227 and NGC 6994. The negative results for all of them yield upper limits for the HI content of these clusters. These limits range from 0.5 M for IC 2391 to 240 M for NGC 2204
