Possibility of hydrogen production by means of radiation-catalytic decomposition of water vapour
- 1. Institut radiatsionnykh fiziko-khimicheskikh problem NAN Belarusi, Minsk (Belarus)
Description
Investigations of radiation-catalytic decomposition of hydrogenous matter in field of Co 60 gamma radiation in solid dielectric presence in both static and dynamics (flow) in temperature range 200-500 degrees centigrade and dose range 2·102 - 105 Gy are developed in the Institute of radiation physical and chemical problems. The laboratory facility provides steam supply at predetermined temperature and rate to temperature-controlled reactor filled by solid and situated in the field of Co 60 gamma-radiation. Steam or gas-vapor mixture contact with catalyst during of predetermined period (contact time) at specified pressure, temperature and dose rate
