Pion nucleon charge exchange amplitudes at fermilab energies
Description
Analysis of πN CEX data from 6-200 GeV is presented in the framework of fixed-t dispersion relations and effective power parametrization of imaginary parts of s-channel helicity amplitudes. Agreement with the data and direct amplitude analyses at 6 GeV requires the effective Regge trajectory for the non-flip and flip amplitudes to be different and deviate from both αp and αrhop linear Regge trajectories. The character of this deviation suggets a possibility of a new absorption mechanism at high energies
