Description
This paper discusses the VAX/VMS Data Acquisition and Analysis System GOOSY which has been used since several years at GSI and other laboratories. Especially for the new accelerator facilities SIS and ESR at GSI a VME based, parallel working frontend system has been implemented and is in use for first experiments. The current system is described. Results from performance measurements are reported. Future developments are presented
