An improved integral system for fuel cycle analysis

  • 1. Unidad de Energia Nuclear, Cuernavaca (Mexico)

Description

This paper describes an improved integral system, developed to perform fuel cycle analysis in a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR), based on commercial codes and in-house developed computational tools. A description of the methodology used in fuel cycle analysis, improvement to different models and the software developed are presented. This system is oriented to obtain an automated-expert workstation for fuel cycle analysis in a friendly graphic environment
