Structural features and character of chemical bond in Bi-Se and Bi-Te systems

The structural features and character of chemical bond in Bi-Se and Bi-Te systems have been considered in the present article. The obtained data of thermographic studies together with the results of X-ray phase and microstructural analyzes made possible to construct the phase diagrams of state of Bi-Se and Bi-Te systems, which agree well (satisfactorily) with the data of the work. The state diagrams of the Bi-Se and Bi-Te systems make possible to find the optimal conditions for growing single crystals of the compounds of interest. (author)
