Photosphere of the hot R CrB star MV SGR
Creators
Description
High resolution spectra of the hot R CrB star MV Sgr have been obtained while the star was close to maximum light. An analysis of the photospheric spectrum shows that the star is very similar to the extreme helium star HD 124448 in Teff, log g and hydrogen abundance. Other elements (C, N, S and Si) are probably underabundant relative to HD 124448. 7 references
