Description
We discuss issues involved in QCD computations based on operators and states instead of the Feynman path integral. These include the expected behavior of eigenvalues inside and outside the scaling region, basis states and matrix elements of the Hamiltonian, gauge fixing, and large lattices. We present results for pure SU(3) lattice gauge theory on a small lattice
