Itataia's deposit - Structural zoning of a pit until the level 480 meters

Description

This work is part of Itataia Project-Geotechnics; in it are introduced several comments concerning the structural zoning of a pit in Itataias' phosphorous-uranipherous deposit, until the level 480 meters. The structural parameters (fractures, faults, foliations) obtained in surface and underground works were statistically treated. Stereographic projection was used to define eventual slipping into the pit. All the data were arranged in tables to make it easy the comparison with experimental pits. (author)

Abstract (Portuguese)

Este trabalho e parte do Projeto Itataia-Geotecnia, que tem como principal objetivo a obtencao de elementos para subsidiar projetos de engenharia para lavra e beneficiamento dos minerios, e dar apoio aos estudos de viabilidade tecnica e economica da jazida. Nele foram introduzidos varios comentarios referentes ao zoneamento estrutural da lavra na jazida fosforo uranifera de Itataia ate o nivel 480 metros. Os parametros estruturais (fraturas, falhas e foliacoes) obtidos nos trabalhos de superficie e subterraneos foram estatisticamente tratados. Todos os dados foram tabelados, o que tornou facil a comparacao com lavras experimentais. (C.D.G.)
