The research of the azimuthal correlations of shower particles in terms of collective variables
- 1. High Energy Physics Inst., Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, Alma-Ata (USSR)
Description
This paper reports that in inelastic interactions the shower particles azimuthal correlations versus atomic number and excitation degree of target nucleus are investigated by using of two-dimensional plane (the average pair azimuthal angle, bar Ψ standard deflection, σ) at primary momenta 200 and 400 GeV/c. The cross-sections of one-jet processes are obtained. The interactions followed by full destruction of heavy emulsion nuclei (Nh ≥ 28 or ng ≥ 10) do not give the contribution into one-jet mechanism. To take account of increasing interest to jet processes it is obviously worth-while to research correlations between collective variables for individual events in several regions of phase space
