Factors Affecting the Cost of Fabricating HTR Fuel. Dragon Project Report
Description
This paper has been prepared as an aid to designers to illustrate the factors which effect the cost of fabricating HTR fuel. It considers the effect of the installation programme and design features on the fuel fabrication cost. The costs are shown to be capable of being expressed in a simplified breakdown, namely programme dependent, flow sheet and enrichment dependent and design dependent terms. These are analysed and the areas worthy of particular attention are highlighted. (author)
