Analysis of plasma flow in the scrape-off layer of a tokamak

Description

Plasma flow at the periphery of a tokamak, in a magnetic tube at whose ends there are coins, is analyzed. The convection caused by the toroidal drift of the particles is taken into account. The distribution of the plasma properties in such a tube is found. The transition from a solid poloidal limiter to a segmented limiter is studied
