Behaviour of radioactive impurities in sodium of fast reactor primary circuit
Description
A survey is given of the sources of impurities in the sodium primary circuit of the fast breeder reactor, their identification, behaviour, effects on the thermodynamic properties of sodium and the possibilities of their removal. An experimental programme is suggested whose results would give a comprehensive idea of the behaviour of the individual types of impurities in the sodium circuit. (F.M.)
