New industrial structures and developments in the unified design of the WWER-1000 NPP
Description
New industrial structures applied in realization of a unified NPP design with the WWER-1000 reactor are described. Depending on their functional purpose these structures are referred to different categories of safety and are calculated to withstand such loadings as shock wave, shock of a dropping aircraft, seismic effect of the maximum possible intensity during 10000 years. Large-block structures are preferable in construction of prestressed reinforced concrete containment buildings. Introduction of new technological solutions permits to reduce the labour content, increase labour productivity, decrease material consumption increase the quality of operations and reduce the total construction costs
