Description

We show how ρ-ω mixing can be exploited to constrain the strong phase difference between tree and penguin contributions to the decays B± → π+π-ρ± and to enhance the CP violation. The resulting CP violation is greater than 20% and very stable against theoretical uncertainties. Moreover, it should be possible to extract the sign of the CKM angle, α, unambiguously. (author)
