Renewable energies in numbers. National and international development in 2021
Description
The expansion of renewable energies is a central pillar of the energy transition. The brochure provides information on the progress achieved in the further expansion of renewable energies in Germany, Europe and the world. The data on the development of renewable energies in Germany are based on the results of the Working Group on Renewable Energies Statistics (AGEE-Stat), which compiles the balance sheet of renewable energies for Germany on behalf of the BMWK. The data published here represent a snapshot with an editorial deadline of October 2022 - they are still provisional in some places, especially for 2021. At the same time, current time series on the development of renewable energies in Germany since 1990 as well as a wide range of graphs in German and English are published on the BMWi website.

Der Ausbau erneuerbaren Energien ist eine zentrale Säule der Energiewende. Mit der Broschüre wird über den erreichten Fortschritt beim weiteren Ausbau der Erneuerbaren Energien in Deutschland, in Europa und der Welt informiert. Grundlage der Daten zur Entwicklung der erneuerbaren Energien in Deutschland sind die Ergebnisse der Arbeitsgruppe Erneuerbare Energien-Statistik (AGEE-Stat), die im Auftrag des BMWK die Bilanz der erneuerbaren Energien für Deutschland erarbeitet. Die hier veröffentlichten Daten stellen eine Momentaufnahme mit Redaktionsschluss Oktober 2022 dar – sie haben insbesondere für das Jahr 2021 an einigen Stellen noch vorläufigen Charakter. Parallel werden auf den Internetseiten des BMWK aktuelle Zeitreihen zur Entwicklung der erneuerbaren Energien in Deutschland seit dem Jahr 1990 sowie vielfältige Schaubilder in deutscher und in englischer Sprache veröffentlicht.Additional details
