Description
Nuclear NIMBY crisis has become a major obstacle for the development of China's nuclear energy industry at present stage, and the nature of the crisis lies in the public's negative attitude about nuclear facilities. This study investigated the status quo of the 'psychological capital' of the public about nuclear facilities by focusing on the four elements of trust, participation, group effectiveness and group toughness, which suggested that the government and enterprises should follow the four concepts of 'long-term', 'systematic', 'cooperative' and 'fault-tolerant', take the 'public communication' as the key point, and carry out the development and cultivation of public psychological capital through the strategies of empowerment, collaboration, energy en hancement and sentiment, in order to solve the NIMBY crisis from the origin.
